Regina, Shelby, Jesse:

Patty and I offer our sincerest sympathy. Stephen was a wonderful person and we know this is difficult for you. Thankfully, you do have your memories! These are good memories and will help you more and more as time passes.

I have known Stephen for at least 60 years. Many times while I was in business Stephen and Johnnie (later only Stephen) came by to visit ..... often after stopping by the ASCS office which was then just around the corner. Other times I stopped by to visit at the farm. These visits were always enjoyable. Sometimes I felt a little bit guilty for interrupting their work but I enjoyed visiting and know the feeling was mutual.

Life will never be the same again but do the best you can. All I can think of to say to you is: Relive your memories; keep mind and body busy; and, trust God with the rest.

God's Blessings to each of you.

Regina, Jesse, Shelby and other family members, Kenny and I want to express our sorrow at Stephen's passing. I have such fond memories of childhood summers when Cissy and I would spend a week or so at the Emmicks. Those are great memories for a city girl and Stephen was a major part of those memories. We will pray for the happy repose of his soul and for healing for all of you.
