Anna B. Emery Payne, 74, of Lewisport went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday November 3, 2016 at her home with her family at her side.  Anna was born in Breckinridge County on October 7, 1942 to the late Merle and Eldora Daugherty Emery.  She was a member at St Columba Catholic Church.  Anna was a devoted mother and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 34 years John L. Payne; a daughter Donna K. Potts (Duane); a son Justin L. Payne (Jennifer); two grandchildren Olivia Potts and Mason Potts; two sisters Eva Blair and Glenola Harl; two brothers Collins Embry (Louise) and Gene Emery (Brenda) along with several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Monday November 7, 2016 at St Columba Catholic Church with burial following services in Lewisport Cemetery.  Anna’s family will be greeting friends from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday with prayers being said at 5:00 pm at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport and from 8:00 am until service time Monday at St Columba Catholic Church.
