Zella Laws (Ore) Imprescia Obituary

Zella Ore Imprescia, 98, of Lewisport, went to her Heavenly Home on Monday, October 27, 2025 surrounded by her family.  Zella was born in Trosper, KY on September 6, 1927 to the late Fred Tice and Cleda Sowders Ore, Sr.  She was an avid quilter and gardener and cherished her family.  Zella was an LPN and a member of Hawesville United Methodist Church. 


In addition to her parents, Zella was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Laws and Stelio Imprescia; brothers, Hobart Ore, Thomas Ore, Fred Ore, Jr., Julius Ore, Ralph Ore and Delphus Ore; sisters, June Ore, Betty Lou Alford and Cleta Bell Gregory.


Survivors include her daughters, Pamala Laws Lambert, Nona (Larry) Laws Redwine and Judy (Dale) Laws Edwards; brother, Joseph Phillip (Marilyn) Ore; sisters, Mary Gail Blevins and Ella Kay Talley; grandchildren, Donna Greer, Kim (Scott) Noble, Jennifer (Jack) Huffman, Adam (Brandi) Redwine, Brent (Dana) Edwards and Tice (Celeste) Edwards; great grandchildren, Kylee Noble, Brody Noble, Brenden Sandusky, Mallory Alvarez, Angelina Alvarez, Mason Huffman, Haley Redwine, Olivia Redwine, Ava Redwine, Eli Edwards, Kate Edwards and Meredith Edwards; great-great grandson, Oliver Sandusky along with several nieces and nephews, extended family and loving friends and neighbors.


Private graveside services will be held at Serenity Hills in Hawesville, KY with brother Ali Almaliki officiating.  Zella’s family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the building fund at Hawesville United Methodist Church, PO Box 365 Hawesville, KY 42348
