William David Reed Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William David “Bill” Reed, 56, of Lewisport.  Bill was born in Hardinsburg, KY on May 21, 1969 to the late David and Nellie Mattingly Reed.  He served his country in the United States Navy during the Gulf War, achieving several awards and two Purple Hearts.  Bill was retired from Waupaca.  He fought long and hard and took every moment in life to teach his kids important life lessons.  Bill was a caring, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.  His suffering has ended and he can enjoy paradise.


Bill is survived by his wife, Charisma Reed; daughters, Brittany (Drew) Reed and Brooke Reed; sons, William Reed, Chris Reed, Nathan Reed and Marshall Reed; granddaughter, Keylei; grandsons, Noah, Christian, King, Easton and Rowan and 2 dear family members, Christy Reed and Shannon Reed. 


Rest easy dad, we have watch now, we love you and will miss you.


Graveside Military Service will be held at Noon on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at Lewisport Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport Chapel on Wednesday from 10 am until Noon.  Share your memories and condolences with his family at www.gibsonandsonfh.com.
