Thomas Early

Thomas “Tommy” Early, 81, of Owensboro, passed away on April 14, 2025 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.  Tommy was born in Owensboro on August 14, 1943 to the late Benjamin and Lucy Mae Ray Early.  Tommy was an Accountant for Harza Engineering in Chicago for several years and Gaddis Excavating in Owensboro when he moved back home.  He was a member of Maceo Baptist Church.

Tommy is survived by his siblings, Brenda (Doug) Smith, Harrison (Carolyn) Early and Carolyn Bidwell; his best buddy and great-great nephew, Alistar Hocker along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport Chapel with burial following in Lewisport Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10 am until service time at the funeral home.
