Shirlene was an active member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and a lifetime associate of the Ursuline community, receiving the Sopia award for service in 2010.

For years Shirlene shared her Indian Lake cabin with family and friends, making taco salads and enjoying playing cards there many times.

Shirlene was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Clay Quinn of 60 years in 2017, her sister Mev May Tucker and her precious granddaughter Bethany Payne in 2016.

Survivors include her daughter, Dana Ceil (Ronnie) Payne of Hawesville, son Daniel Clay Quinn, Jr. (Linda Wimmer) of Hawesville, grandson Blake Payne of Hawesville, grandson Daniel Clay Quinn III of Utah, granddaughter Caitlin Quinn (Michael Price) of Louisiana, niece Cindy Link of Louisville, nephews Greg Franzman of Owensboro and Mark Franzman of Florida.
