Sherrie Mae (Decker) Patterson

Sherrie Mae Patterson, 63, of Cloverport, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025 in Breckinridge County from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  She was born in Hardinsburg on March 9, 1962 to the late Charles and Stella Weedman Decker.  Sherrie was a CNA at many facilities during her nursing career.  She was preceded in death by her husband, David Earl Patterson and numerous siblings. 

Sherrie is survived by her daughter, Amanda Dawson; son, Albert Lee Dawson; grandchildren, Dylan Ray Dawson and Morgann Tayllor Guffy; a great grandson, Atlas Baur; 4 step children; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Patty Dunn and Sondra Vaught; brother, Joe Decker along with many nieces and nephews.

As per Sherrie’s wishes, no services will be held and cremation was chosen.
