Darrel Scott Tindle, 60, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 4, 2024 at his home. He was born in Owensboro on May 13, 1964 to the late Lester and Alice Dawson Tindle. Scott was retired from the Kentucky State Road Department in Hancock County. He was an avid outdoorsman, whether it be fishing, turkey hunting, deer hunting or looking for ginseng. Scott was a sorghum producer for many years and loved collecting native artifacts. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Randy Tindle, Allan Tindle and Marcia Tindle.
Scott is survived by his son, Daren Scott Tindle; sister, Donna Knight; brothers, David Tindle and Mike Tindle along with several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Services will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Hawesville Chapel with burial following in Clark-Young Cemetery on Happy Hollow Road. Scott’s family will be greeting friends on Tuesday from 10 am until service time at the funeral home.
