Robert Lee Nugent

Robert Lee “Robbie” Nugent, Jr., 59, of Lewisport, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at the Heartford House.  He was born in Daviess County on June 18, 1962 Robert and Annise Saunders Nugent.  Robbie retired from Century Aluminum and was of the Baptist faith.  He enjoyed taking his dog Bo, on truck rides.  Robbie was preceded in death by his father, Robert Nugent, Sr.

Survivors include his daughters, Tina Vance, Desiree (Drew) Tyler and Rosalie Nugent; mother, Ann Nugent; grandchildren, Brenden Vance, Breanna Vance, Kendall Tyler, Henry Smith and Madison Tyler; siblings, Cindy Powers, Lanette Board, Billy Nugent and Eddie Embry along with nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport Chapel with Bro. Andrew Hunt officiating.  Robbie’s family will be greeting friends on Wednesday from 10 am until service time at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Heartford House; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
