Rilda D (Haycraft) Hatfield

Rilda D. Hatfield, 65, of Whitesville, passed away on June 25, 2022 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.  She was born in New Albany, IN on October 22, 1956 to the late Arthur and Etta Myrle Beatty Haycraft.  Rilda was of the Baptist faith and was a caretaker of Daviess County Fish and Game for 9 years.  She was a compassionate mother and grandmother.  Rilda loved family gatherings and cooking for family gatherings.  She loved her coffee, cigarettes, bingo and casinos.  She was preceded in death by her husband, David Hatfield; siblings, Melvina Dowell, Bob Haycraft, Scotty Haycraft and Joy Haycraft.

She is survived by her children, Brittany (Matt) Brinkley, Todd (Leanna) Haycraft, James (Natalie) Hatfield, Greg (Melanie) Hatfield and Johnny Hatfield; grandchildren, Dillian (Alyssa) Haycraft, Natalie Hatfield, Mallory Hatfield, Ciara Brinkley, Anthony Brinkley and Peyton Brinkley; great-grandchildren, Caiden, Carson, Levi and Bronwyn; siblings, Shelby Gray, Ray Haycraft and Dale Haycraft along with several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 7 pm on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Gibson and Son Funeral Home, Lewisport Chapel with cremation to follow.  Visitation will be held from 2 pm until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
