Patricia Gail (DeWitt) Russelburg Obituary

Patricia Gail Russelburg, 71, 0f Hawesville, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at her home under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky.  She was born in Breckinridge County on October 8, 1952 to the late Jasper and Bernice Brown Dewitt.  Gail was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and was a retired security guard.  She enjoyed yard sales, “junking” and horses.  Gail was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Rachele Ress and son-in-law, James G. McCrary.


Gail is survived by her husband, Joseph Russelburg; daughter, Jennifer McCrary; grandchildren, Brandon Ress, Tarynn Dean, Josalyn Benningfield, Chase (Katrina) Upchurch, Mikayla (Josh) Swink and Dalton (Lena) Upchurch; 9 great grandchildren; 3 brothers; 3 sisters along with several nieces and nephews.


A Memorial Service will be held at Noon on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Hawesville Chapel.  Gail’s family will be greeting friends on Saturday at the funeral home from 10 am until Noon.  Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
