Patricia Ann (Boling) Boarman

Patricia Ann Boarman, 61, of Hawesville, KY, passed away on July 11, 2025 at The Heartford House with dignity, grace and strength as she had shown while battling stage 4 Lung Cancer.  She was born on April 10, 1964 in Owensboro, KY to the late Densil and Charlotte Johnston Boling.

She graduated from Hancock County High School Class of 1982, attended Daviess County Vocational School and became a licensed Cosmetologist.  Patty spent years helping others feel confident and beautiful as a skilled cosmetologist, giving countless haircuts and colorings with care and creativity at a few local beauty shops, such as Marilyn Wettstain’s shop at Weber’s Corner and Nadean’s Beauty Shop in Roseville.  Her dedication to her craft reflects the warmth and generosity she shared with everyone around her.  Later in her career, Patty was a bus monitor for the Pre-Schoolers and worked at Sally’s Beauty Supply.  Patty has always been a source of love and strength for her family and community.  Patty has touched countless lives with her warmth and kindness.

Family member who preceded her in death were her parents, Densil & Charlotte Boling; infant son, Ryan Thomas Boarman; nephew, Nicholas Decker.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her husband of 40 years, Tim Boarman; daughter, Kayla (Dillon) Jones; granddaughter, Charlotte Jones; bonus daughter, Misty Sorrells; grandsons, Ayhden Sorrells, Isaiah Matson and Major Matson; sister, Vicki and her children, Dylan and Hannah; aunts and uncles, Ricky (Nadean) Boling, Vivian “Peachie” (Homer) Edge, Colleta Roach, Debby (Mike) Carroll and Linda (Leonard) Thomas; special friend and caregiver, Trenta Powers.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at Boling Chapel United Methodist Church with burial following in Boling Chapel Community Cemetery.  Patty’s family will be greeting friends on Wednesday from 10 am until service time at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Heartford House/Hospice of Western Kentucky, envelopes will be available at the church.
