Myrtle Virginia Brandle,95, of Hawesville, KY passed on to her Heavenly Home on February 17, 2025 at The Heartford House with a daughter Lottie Kennedy and a grandson Ricky by her side. Virginia was born on June 10, 1929 in Hawesville to the late Victor and Virgie Butler Carter. She was a member of Safe Harbor Christian Fellowship Church and Undenominational Church, lived her whole life in Hawesville, raised six children, she was a homemaker, enjoyed doing crafts and going to Karaoke. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years Leonard G Brandle, a daughter Marlyn Sue McFall and her husband Charles, son Sherman Brandle and his wife Linda, a granddaughter Mary “Cat” Kennedy, two grandsons Tony and Scott Brandle, one great greatgrandson, brother and his wife Victor and Ann Carter, a sister Stella Carter Elliot and husband Frank a brother Darrell Carter, a son in law Bevin Kennedy and brother in law James McDaniel.
Survivors include three daughters Lottie Kennedy, Konneta (Allan) Baize and Denise (Scott) Morphew; son Pressley Brandle; 27 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; 1 Great greatgrandchild; Emaline McDaniel and Monzella Smith two sisters and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services are at 2:00 pm Saturday March 1, 2025 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Hawesville Chapel with burial following in Serenity Hills. Virginia’s family will greet friends from 10 am until service time Saturday. Online condolences may be left for Virginia family at www.gibsonandsonfh.com.
