Mary J. Loyd

Mary J. Loyd, 62, of Maceo, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024 at the Heartford House.  She was born in Owensboro on June 18, 1962 to the J.W. and Norma Jean Loyd.  Mary’s grandchildren were her world and could do no wrong.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Dennis Riley, Sr.; father, J.W. Loyd and a sister, Doris Ann Hagan.

Mary is survived by her mother, Norma Jean Loyd; daughter, Brittany N. (Zack) Clark; step son, Dennis William (Valarie) Riley, Jr.; grandchildren, Hannah, Skylar, Camdyn and Walker; sisters, Janice (Richard) Bivens, Alice (Moises) Gongora, Belinda Faye (David) Libbert and Connie Loyd along with several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport Chapel.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the funeral home from 10 am until service time.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Heartford House.
