Martha’s life was her testimony. Her greatest desire was to be remembered as a born-again Christian who loved the Lord with all her heart, soul, mind, and strength.
Martha was a faithful member of many Baptist Churches over her life. She used her musical gifts and talents to serve in all of them. Leading the music, singing in quartets, and playing the piano and organ.
Martha was a beautician and had several salons over her life, including in Cloverport, Owensboro and Oneida, where she served as houseparent and teacher for many students at Oneida Baptist Institute for 10 years.
She loved her church, and she loved all people, but her greatest love was for Jesus, and she never missed an opportunity to tell others about Him.
Martha lived a long, fulfilled life and touched many lives in her time here on earth. Her love was the foundation of our home, and we were truly blessed to have her as our mother.
