Margaret (Peggy) Waid, was born September 24, many-many moons ago (plus a true lady never tells her real age) to James Dixon & Margaret Walk. Passed away November 11, 2023 in Owensboro, Ky. She was united in marriage to Russell Waid July 14 over 4 decades ago. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father (who in her eyes was her dad), her siblings Joe & Doyla-Kay and a nephew J.R.

Those left to carry on her memory are her husband, a son Robbie along with his wife & children. A very-very long list of siblings, those she was closest to Ed, Doyle & Jeff. It would cost way too much to list all her nephew's, niece's Jindy (her favorite depending on the day), Nikki & Kaylie. Her Step-mother Darlene and I have been told I can't leave out her actual favorite her nephew in law John who just happens to be married to the favorite. Along with cousins, aunts & uncles and friends.  

A celebration of life will be held at 4 pm on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Hawesville Chapel.  Burial will be at Lewisport Cemetery at a later date.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 1 pm until 4 pm at the funeral home.
