Lorene Rice

Lorene Rice, 87, of Hawesville, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Heartland Villa in Lewisport.  She was born in Hawesville on January 4, 1938 to the late Levi and Flora Young Rice.  Lorene was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Eden Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald Earl Rice, Lester Austin Rice and Eugene Rice.

Lorene is survived by her niece, Donna (Wade) Little; nephew, Lester (Ethel) Rice; great nieces, Patricia and Crystal; great nephew, Jeff and several great-great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Friday, October 31, 2025 at Mt. Eden Baptist Church Cemetery.
