Lillian Cotton Jones, 98, of Lewisport, went to be with her Lord & Savior on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at Heartland Villa Nursing & Rehab.  She was born on June 12, 1926 in McQuady, KY to the late Charlie and Doshie Smith Decker.  Lillian was a member of Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church and was a homemaker.  She enjoyed reading her bible, gardening and yardwork.  Lillian was a tenant farmer with her husband, William Earl Cotton for many years.  She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Earl Cotton and Jackson P. Jones; daughters, Mary Ruth Gaw and Rose Talbott; son, Charles Cotton; 4 grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Smith and Gracie Obenchain; brothers, Harold Decker, Danny Decker and Billy Decker; son-in-law, Claude Fleming.
Lillian is survived by her children, Martha (Osa) Campbell, Donna Fleming, Darrell (Teresa) Cotton; 17 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; siblings, Jimmy Decker, Carolyn Preston, Saundra Faught, Patty Dunn, Sherry Patterson and Wendall Decker along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport Chapel with burial following in Lewisport Cemetery.  Lillians family will be greeting friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 am until service time.
