Larry W Thrasher

Larry W Thrasher, 70, of Lewisport, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Brickyard Healthcare in Tell City, IN.  He was born in Owensboro, Ky on April 9, 1953 to the late Samuel and Emma Lott Thrasher.  Larry worked at Yager Materials for 38 years and ended his career there as a manager.  He loved to cookout, race cars, farming tobacco and spending time with his family.  Larry was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Patricia Elizabeth Wheatley; siblings, Mary Shelton, Russell Thrasher, Betty Roberts, Charles Roberts, Billy Roberts, Alford Roberts and Gladys Roberts.

Larry is survived by his children, Rebecca (Pat) Wheatley, Glenda (Patrick) Baumeister, Brittany (Matt) Niehaus, Emma (Matt) Burgess, Jason Thrasher, David Thrasher and Matt Thrasher; grandchildren, Logan, Addie, Aidan, Brooklynn, Maci, Abby, Natalie, Eli, Molly, Noah, Carson and Ellie; siblings, Martha (Ivo) Burch, Shirley (Larry) Jarboe, Ada Gilmore and Patsy McDowell.

Private services will be held at a later date at Thrasher Cemetery.  Gibson & Son Funeral Home has been entrusted with care.
