Keith Allen Spencer, 51, of Hawesville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at his home.  He was born in Indianapolis, IN on November 27, 1970 to Ronald and Barbara Napier Spencer.  Keith was a musician and a member of Acton Baptist Church in Indianapolis.  His pride and joy in life were his children and always gave more than he had.  Keith loved traveling, playing guitar and teaching people how to play guitar.  He enjoyed his time while he worked at the Indianapolis Zoo.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Larry Napier and Rosco and Mary Spencer.

Keith is survived by his son, Tyler Bogard; daughters, Lylia Sim, Mikavonya Spencer and Ixul Spencer; parents, Ronald and Barbara Spencer; adopted son, Billy Evans; grandmother, Clara Napier along with aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be held at 5 pm on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Hawesville.  Burial will be private at a later date.  Keith’s family will be greeting friends on Friday from Noon until service time the funeral home.  A trust fund for his daughters will be set up at First Financial Bank.
