Kathy L. Elliott, 69, of Philpot, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.  She was born in Owensboro, KY, on October 8, 1956 to Carl and Maxine Voyles Muffett.  Kathy was a member of Roseville Baptist Church and a coordinator at Audubon Area Community Services.  She enjoyed her time spent with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Carl Muffett and her sister, Dot Scott.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 52 years, Sam Elliott; mother, Maxine Puckett; children, Chris “Bo” (Allison) Elliott, Brian Scott Elliott, Audra (David) Redmon, Alicia (Brad) Crump and Timothy (Connie) Hess; grandchildren, Alex Elliott, Madalyne Elliott, Ronnie Elliott, Austin Forler, Devin Forler, Logan Forler, Tristan Coombs, Ava Crump, Brittany Adkins and Christina Deason; great grandchildren, Topher Elliott, Madelyn Adkins, James Adkins, Samuel Adkins, Gage Hagan and Mackenzie Deason.

Services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, February, 7, 2026 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Hawesville Chapel with private burial in Roseville Cemetery.  Kathy’s family will be greeting friends on Friday, February 6, 2026 from 2 pm until 7 pm and on Saturday from 11 am until service time at the funeral home.
