Julie Ann Swihart, 61, of Lewisport, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.  She was born in Indianapolis, IN on February 4, 1964 to the late Kenneth Kelly and Ida Mae Henning Swihart.  Julie enjoyed spending time with family, cookouts, 80’s rock music and was a talented Cornhole player.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Brian Swihart and a sister, Kimberly Kay Swihart.

Julie is survived by her sister, Tina (Mike Nugent) Swihart; nieces and nephews, Jeremy, Michael, Joe, Sammie, Sarah, Brittany, Brian, Haley, Christy and Kayla; Kaedon, Kah’liee and john, who thought of her like a third mother along with several other great nieces and nephews; two faithful feline companions, Butters and Opie

Services will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport Chapel.  Burial will be held at a later date.  Julie’s family will be greeting friends on Wednesday at the funeral home from 10 am until service time.
