Joyce Marie (Bennett) Fulkerson

Joyce Marie Fulkerson, 80, of Hawesville, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at her home under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky.  She was born in Danville, KY on February 9, 1943 to the late Robert N. and Mable L. Bennett. Joyce was of the Baptist faith and was retired from Century Aluminum.  She enjoyed gardening, flowers, reading, sewing and dachshunds.  Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Dale Fulkerson, Sr.; son, Rex Dale Fulkerson, Jr.; grandson, Trevor Chapman; siblings, Betty A. Shawler and Samuel Bennett.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Deanna (Todd) Edgell; grandchildren, Carl (Nicole) Davidson, Jessica Green, Jerrod Davidson, Keisha (Jerry) Caldwell, Nick (Aubrey) Fulkerson, Ethan Edgell, Skye Edgell and Elizabeth Fulkerson; daughter in law Rhonda Fulkerson.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Rosehill Cemetery Chapel.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 3 pm until 7 pm at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport Chapel.
