John Earl Adkins Obituary

John Earl Adkins, 49, of Santa Claus, IN passed on to his Heavenly Home on October 14, 2025 at his Home.  John was born in Cordele, Ga to John and Genell Pipkin Adkins.  John was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard and a Safety Director at Holiday World. He enjoyed C and C Machine Engraving, made great pecan pies, cooking, baking, grilling, wood working, working on the farm and car shows.   He was preceded in death by his father John Adkins.


Suvivors include three daughters Austyn Adkins (Xavier), Laney Adkins and Ivie Mills; son Aubry (Libbie) Adkins; his mother Genell Pipkin; brother Lee (Kelly) Adkins; father and mother in laws Gary and Sandra Swihart Conder; sisters-in-laws Shannon (Julie) Conder and Cathy Conder niece Charley King, Kaylee Adkins and Madison Gordon and nephew Bishop Gordon.


Services are at 1:00 pm Monday October 20, 2025 at Gibson and Son Funeral Home, Hawesville Chapel with burial in Arabi Cemetery in Arabi, Ga at a later date. John’s family will greet friends from 10 am until 1 pm at the Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left for John’s family at gibsonandsonfh@att.net.
