Joel “Joe” Kent Daniels, 62, of Hawesville, went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, March 4, 2026 peacefully at home under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky.  He was born on June 9, 1963 to the late Brown and Rachel Voyles Daniels.  Joe was saved at an early age and lived for Jesus his whole life.  Joe retired from Southern Star Gas Pipeline when he diagnosed with Alzheimers.  Along with his parents, joe was preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie and brother, Darrell.

Joe is survived by his wife of 40 years, Tammy; niece, Terri, whom he grew up with all his life like a sister. 

Joe is also survived by nieces and nephews, Shaela Morris (Dustin), Zach Jarboe (Mindy), Chelsey Hearme (Joe), Molly Minkey (Jordan), Jared Morris, Nick Jarboe (Madison), Andy Jarboe (Briana), Jason Bratcher (Katie), Kevin Daniels (Brittany) and Greg Daniels (Jennifer).

He is also survived by great nieces and nephews, Braden, Briana, Zach, Hazel, Cameron, Ryan, Samantha, John Watson, Kinzley, Kacilyn, Atavia, Landon, Bentley, Kai, Brighton, Theo, Emmy, Jane, Ellie, Arlo, Indie, Jemma, Jarvey and Emmett.

Joe is also survived by his fur baby, Peter.

Joe’s heart’s desire was that all his nieces and nephews would “Come To Jesus.”

Mathew 25:21 – His Lord said unto him, well done, thou good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things.  I will make thee ruler over many things; enter thou into the joy of the Lord.

Services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Hawesville Chapel with burial following in Serenity Hills.  Visitation will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026 from 3 pm until 6 pm and on Tuesday from 9 am until service time at the funeral home.  Share your memories and condolences with his family at www.gibsonandsonfh.com.
