Jesse William Daniels

Jesse William Daniels, 83, of Lewisport, passed away from this earth to his heavenly home on Monday, February 17, 2025 at Hartland Villa.  He was born in Hawesville on May 25, 1941 to the late Jesse and Ivo Hazel Morgan Daniels.  Jesse was a member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church and was a lifelong farmer.  He also worked production at Schwab Safe Company and American Olean Tile.  Jesse was a member of Hilltop Trail Riders, enjoyed working and breaking horses and loved all animals and children.  He was preceded in death by a grandson, Austin Arnold; granddaughter-in-law, Rikki Arnold; sister, Becky Roberts; brother, Brown Daniels; nephews, Darrell Daniels and Brian Roberts

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Patsy Poole Daniels; daughters, Ladonna (Dewayne) Arnold, Cindy (Darrell) Moffitt, Jessica (Ricky) Brown, Miranda (Caston) Bailes and Beverly Bell; grandchildren, Amanda, Adam, Amy, Daniel, Ashley, Brittany, Kirk, Ben and Billy; 9 great grandchildren; special friends, Halli Dant, Mike Landers and Mike Dean along with several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport Chapel with burial following in Chestnut Grove Cemetery.  Jesse’s family will be greeting friends on Saturday at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until funeral time at 2 p.m.
