Janice E. Hale, 74, of Hardinsburg, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.  She was born on July 2, 1949 in Hawesville to the late C. F. (Dick) and Roberta Jackson Young.  Janice was a member of Blackford Baptist Church and was a homemaker.  Janice enjoyed spending time with family and crocheting.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Roberta Young; a daughter, Kathy Butler and a brother Gary Young.

Janice is survived by her husband of 38 years, Don Hale; children, Randy Butler, Samantha Ramsey, Bill (Darlene) Butler and Mykl Blandford; grandchildren, Douglas, Dustin, David, Destiny, Breana, Kaitlyn, Kayla, Samantha and Brandon; brother, Roger Young.

Services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Hawesville Chapel with burial following in Blackford Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Tuesday from 11 am until service time at the funeral home.  Janice's family requests all forms of memorial contributions be made to Gibson & Son Funeral Home to help with expenses.
