Jane B. Jordan, 88, of Lewisport, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024 at Heartland Villa in Lewisport.  She was born in Livermore, KY on May 30, 1936 to the late Alfred and Eula Mae Vance Brashear.  Jane was a registered nurse and a member of Lewisport Baptist Church and was retired from Commonwealth Aluminum and Heartland Villa Center.  She enjoyed Kentucky Wesleyan basketball, University of Louisville basketball, golf and playing the piano for Union Baptist Church, Lewisport Baptist Church and multiple funerals and weddings.  Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur C. “Art” Jordan; siblings, Chris Carver, Mildred Day and Jackie Boling, granddaughter Corissa Lindley and great granddaughter Magan.

Jane is survived by her daughters, Gaye (Craig) Waldie and Lynne (Bobby) Stone; grandchildren, Kevin Waldie and Scarlett (Jacob) Byrne. Great grandchildren Violett and Max.

No services will be held at this time.  Jane, like her husband Art, donated her body to the University of Louisville Medical School.  Gibson & Son Funeral Home is assisting Jane’s family with her final wishes. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lewisport Baptist Church Food Pantry, 1115 Pell St. Lewisport, Ky 42351, would be greatly appreciated.
