Jamison Robert Hanks Obituary

Jamison Robert Hanks, 17, of Hawesville, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at his home.  He was born in Owensboro, KY on February 23, 2006 to Benjamin Hanks and Heather Roberts.  Jamison was a Junior at Hancock County High School.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, Four-wheeler riding and Jordan’s.  Jamison was loved by all who met him, always with a smile on his face.  Preceded in death by a grandfather, Kenny Ray Hanks; great grandmother, Jeanie Hanks.


Jamison is survived by his father, Benjamin Hanks; mother, Heather (Phil Dunn) Roberts; maternal grandmother, Krista Williams; maternal grandfather, Donald White; paternal grandmother, Jenny Hylton; maternal great grandmother, Gloria Alexander; paternal great grandfather, Bo “Poppy” Hanks; siblings, TK, Sophia, Phillip, Carmello and Chance along with aunts, uncles and cousins.


Graveside services will be held in Lewisport Cemetery following visitation on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.  Visitation will be held from 11 am until 2 pm at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport Chapel on Tuesday.
