James W. “Jim” Cummings, 81, of Lewisport, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City, IN.  He was born on August 25, 1943 in Nortonville, KY to the late Robert and Atha Gipson Cummings.  Jim was retired from Century Aluminum.  He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family, loved sharing music with people, fishing and playing cards with his friends.  Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Cummings; siblings, Marie Cummings, Bobby Cummings and Lois Hardesty.

James is survived by his daughter, Kelli Cummings; sons, Todd Cummings and Mack (Becky) Cummings; grandchildren, Michal Cummings, Nolan Cummings and Natalia Cummings; siblings, Betty Brown, Patsy Littlepage and Don Cummings along with several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1 pm on Friday, February 21, 2025 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport Chapel with burial following in Greenwood Cemetery in Tell City.  James family will be greeting friends on Friday at the funeral home from 10 am until service time at 1 pm.
