Hunter Ray Flake, 20, of Hawesville, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025 doing what he loved, riding 4-wheelers. He was born in Owensboro, KY on March 1, 2005 to Butch and Dawn Howard Flake. Hunter was employed by Commonwealth Aluminum and was an avid outdoorsman. Hunter was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ray Flake; uncle, Joel Ray “Joey” Howard.
Survivors include his parents, Butch and Dawn Flake; sister, Allea Flake; grandparents, Mike and Mary Ann Kruger and Donna Arrendell along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends
Services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport Chapel with burial following in Serenity Hills. Hunter’s family will be greeting friends on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 from 3 pm until 8 pm pm and on Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 9 am until service time at Gibson and Son Funeral Home, Lewisport Chapel. Hunter’s family requests that everyone dress casual.
