Frances (Blair) Voyles

Frances Blair Voyles, 81, of Hawesville, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.  She was born in Hyden, Ky on September 16, 1944 to the late Rutherford Gay And Ruby Irene Brashear Blair.  She was a member of Blackford Baptist Church and was retired from Civil Service, serving many years as a medical technologist and computer specialist with the United States Army.  In retirement, she was a master gardener, enjoying every second spent in her gardens and with her family. 

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Wilford Voyles, Jr.; sons, Gregory Scott (Jennifer) Voyles and Richard Carl (Stacy Ann) Voyles; grandchildren, Tyler Scott (Katie) Voyles and Shannon Rae Voyles; great grandson, Harrison Voyles; sister, Georgia Blair Miller.

Services will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at Blackford Baptist Church with burial following in Blackford Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10 am until 12:30 pm at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Hawesville Chapel.
