Evelyn Marie Ammons

Evelyn Marie Ammons, 78, of Owensboro, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Twin Rivers Nursing and Rehab.  She was born in Lewisport on March 30, 1947 to the late Theodore and Nina Conner Crutchfield.  She was a member of Lewisport Baptist Church.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Louis Ammons, Sr.; sister, Lula M Powers.

Evelyn is survived by her son, Marvin (Philicia) Louis Ammons, Jr.; sisters, Gracie (Carl) Frizzell and Margaret Porter; nieces and nephews, Christopher Frizzell, Cindy Moffett, Annetta Francis, Valarie Kittenger, Martha Blandford, James E. Lively, Jr. and Laura Pope.

Private services will be held for Evelyn with burial in Lewisport Cemetery.
