Edith Darlene (Simpson) Edge

Edith Darlene Edge, 67, of Hawesville, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at her home.  She was born in Curdsville, Ky on February 19, 1956 to the late LB and Jane Simpson.  Edith was a homemaker and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Pat Edge; brothers, Amos Simpson and Roger Simpson.

Survivors include her sons, Jimmy Jones and Joey Edge; grandchildren, Creek Wright, Kaden Edge and Khloe Edge; siblings, Laura Williams, Wayne Simpson, Jimmy Simpson and Tommy Simpson along with several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Noon on Friday, January 5, 2024 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Hawesville Chapel with burial following in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 10 am until noon.
