Donovan E. Elmendorf

Donovan Elmendorf, 27, of Lewisport, Ky, left us on September 1, 2021. He was born on September 21, 1993. He came in this world six weeks early and kept to those ways his entire life. Always wanting to get there on time but preferably early. He had many interests such as guns knives and cars (thanks to his Papaw David Elmendorf) and even mud trucks make that “toys”. Even though he didn’t have one of his own, he loved the kids of all those closest to him so much, he was their Uncle D. He went by so many nicknames, his first being D-Man, then who can forget the most notorious nickname of Shooter McGee, but the most treasured nickname was Bubby. He loved his family and those he called family didn’t have to be by blood. His heart was pure kindness and love, a gentler giant you could not find.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Shirley Elmendorf, his great aunt Diana Powers and his paternal grandparents Charles and Sue McFall.

He is survived by his youngest brother Spencer Jackson, his mother Sandra (Kyle) Jackson, Grandfather David Elmendorf, his father Wesley (Daffany) McFall, his brothers Jonathan, Jacob, and Charles McFall, his sister Kelsey McFall, his Aunt & Uncle Mary & Mike Crowe, cousins Michael (& daughter Gracie May) Crowe, Joshua Crowe and Amy (& daughters Tylana & Tarissa) Crowe, Daniel McFall and so many other cousins

Also, to all of those who can’t be listed individually know he loves you this includes but is by no means limited to: Jeremy Allen, Cody (Zoey & kids) McManaway, Samantha (Kids) Connor, Izaha Masters, Michael Tindle, Ashley James, Steven Johnson, Taylor Bryant, Ethan Clausen, Cody Sipes, Jon Christopher Lindsey, Cheyenne Lindsey and so so many more.

There will be a gathering at 2pm and then a memorial service at 6pm at Fishing & Game Gun Range, in Hawesville, on Sunday, September 5, 2021.
