Donna R. Simpson, 74, of Hawesville, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City.  She was born on February 14, 1950 in Hawesville, Ky to the late Archie and Dorothy Couty Simpson.  Donna was a member of Central Baptist Church and was retired from Stewart-Warner.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.  Donna was an avid WWE fan, UK fan, enjoyed soap operas and loved attending church.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Charlotte Bolin and a brother, Jimmy Simpson.

Donna is survived by her son, Mark Simpson; grandchildren, Isaiah Simpson, Malachi Simpson, Abram Simpson, Uriah Simpson and Sophia Snyder; siblings, Terry (Janice) Simpson, Violet Little, Patricia (Mike) Staples, Stacy Adkins, Theresa (Vondal) Henry, Judy (Donnie) Snyder, Randy (Sonda) Simpson and Richard Simpson along with many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at Noon on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Central Baptist Church.  Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 10 am until service time.
