Edith Diane Rice, 74, of Lewisport, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at the Heartford House.  She was born in Livermore, Ky on September 4, 1950 to the late Lucille Davis McCoy.  Diane was a nanny for many years.  She enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, gardening, canning and crossword puzzles.  Diane was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille Davis McCoy and 5 siblings.

Survivors include her children, Linda Hankins, Amanda Redfern and Jeremy (Chassity) Redfern; grandchildren, Amber, Earl, Sarah, Christian, Justis, Destainee, Ryan, Darcy and Haylee; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Kay McCoy Burden along with several nieces and nephews.

Diane’s wishes were to be cremated and no services held.  Gibson & Son Funeral Home has been entrusted with care.
