Daniel L. Craig, Sr., 64, of Lewisport, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025 at his home under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky.  He was born in Owensboro on October 31, 1960 to the late Henry and Ester Hurm Craig.  Daniel was a member of The Kentucky and Indiana National Guard and had previously worked at Masterbrand and Waupaca.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family.

Daniel is survived by his wife of 35 years, Anita Burnett Craig; daughter, Amanda (Willie) Basham; sons, Daniel (Amanda) Craig, Jr. and Roger Burnett; grandchildren, Samantha Sinclair, Jacob Basham, Anthony Shirley, Adam McMahon, Daniel Craig III and Ella Burnett; sister, Vicky (Roger) Estes; brothers, Roger Craig, Mike Craig and James Craig along with several nieces and nephews.
