Cynthia “Cindy” Lindsey Daugherty, 77, of Lewisport, KY, passed away peacefully June 6, 2025 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.  Cynthia was born on December 14, 1947 to the late Ray and Fannie Watkins Lindsey in Breckinridge County, Ky.  She spent many years cooking at the Kozy Kitchen, filling multiple roles at Tell City Walmart and operating the Lewisport Liquor Store in Lewisport until her passing.  Cindy loved sharing life’s moments, big and small, with her other half Jimmy.  Cindy could be found finishing a crossword puzzle, reading her latest book or out hunting a new coin for her collection. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Margaret Powers and a great granddaughter Daisy Daugherty.

Survivors include her significant other, James (Jimmy) Bradford of Lewisport; two sons Robbie Daugherty of Cloverport and Ray (Tiffanie) Daugherty of Benton, KY; two sisters, Veronica (Bob) Ent of Hardinsburg and Alberta (Wayne) Morris of Hawesville; a brother-in-law Brent Powers of Hawesville; three bonus children Jamie, Michael and Jimmy, Jr; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Per Cynthia’s wishes there will be no public service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
