Clayton D. Boling, 93, of Cloverport, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at his home. He was born on May 15, 1931 in Hancock County to the late Dudley and Ruby Sanders Boling. Clayton was a member of Pisgah Baptist Church and was retired from McCoy’s Pest Control. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Hurst Boling; daughter, Ruby Hedges; daughter in law, Joyce Boling; brothers, Irvin and Robert Boling.
Leaving behind to mourn his passing but to celebrate the life he lived, daughters, Gail Boling and Ann Johnson; sons, Marty Boling and Kenneth (Sandy) Boling; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren with another one on the way; sisters, Zella Carter and Wanda Hurst along with several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Hawesville Chapel with burial following in Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. Clayton’s family will be greeting friends on Thursday from 9 am until service time at the funeral home.
