Charles Thomas Logsdon

Charles Thomas Logsdon, 83, of Lewisport, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky at the Heartford House.  He was born in Maceo, Ky on February 27, 1941 to the late John Thomas and Katherine Sipes Logsdon.  Charlie owned and operated Logsdon’s Garage for many years in Lewisport and was a member of the Army Reserve.  Charlie enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, animals of all sorts, working in his garage and was a master tinkerer.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, David Logsdon.

Charlie is survived by his wife of 53 years, Claudette Winkler Logsdon; daughter, Charla (T Tommy) Littlepage; son, Chad Logsdon; grandchildren, Lane and Leah Littlepage; sister, Karen (Mickey) Keenan; brother, Jim (Betty) Logsdon along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm on Friday, May 24, 2024 at Lewisport Baptist Church with burial following in Lewisport Cemetery.  Charlie’s family will be greeting friends on Thursday from 4 pm until 7 pm at Gibson & Son Funeral Home and on Friday from 11 am until service time at Lewisport Baptist Church.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Western Kentucky or the Hancock County Animal Shelter.
