Carol Dawson Vogt, 75, of Tell City, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Owensboro, KY on June 24, 1950 to the late Estil and Lucille Young Dawson. Carol was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Tell City. She worked as a C.N.A. at Beverly Healthcare for several years and also worked at Tell City Chair Company. She treasured her time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Henry “Bud” Vogt; siblings, Kent Greely, Junior Dawson, Brenda Simpson, Alice Tindle and Betty Cartwright; Granddaughter in infancy, Cassandra Vogt.
Carol is survived by her sons, Timothy (Christy) Vogt, Anthony (Julie) Vogt and Chris (Kelly) Vogt; grandchildren, Angelique, Frankie, Ryan, Kiera, Bryce, Ashton, Carter, Casen and Stella; great grandchildren, Malia John and Lawson Wilson; sisters, Cheryl Wilson, Billie Faye Schwartz, Jackie Moore and Tracey Chumley along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins
As per Carol’s wishes, cremation was chosen and services will be announced at a later date.
