Carol Michelle (Thurby) Roberts

Carol Thurby Roberts, 54, of Lewisport, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.  She was born in Owensboro on December 17, 1970 to the late Douglas and Nancy Sentek Thurby.  Carol enjoyed crafts and spending time with her family.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Roberts; sister, Candy Seaton; brother, David Thurby.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Misty (Matt) Killion and Kelly (Matt) Schaefer; son, Larry (Lacey) Ramsey; grandchildren, Jamison, Wesley, Kyle, Thomas, Parker, Finleigh,  Mallory and Brooke; brother, Wayne (Dana) Thurby along with nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport Chapel with burial following in Lewisport Cemetery.  Carol’s family will be greeting friends on Wednesday at the funeral home from 11 am until service time.  Memorial contributions may be made to Gibson & Son Funeral Home to help offset expenses.
