Carl Vincent Gray, 77, of Whitesville, (Formerly of Hawesville), went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.  Carl was born on July 31, 1948 to the late Doris Henry (D.H.) and Pauline Wheatley Gray.  Carl was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.  He was retired from National Southwire Aluminum and was a veteran of the United States Army.  Carl enjoyed UK sports, taking care of his yard, birdwatching and Busch Lights.  Along with his parents, Carl; was preceded in death by his siblings, Jeanie Hanks, Herman Gray and Robert (Bob) Gray.

Carl is survived by his sons, Jeff (Shelly) Gray and Aaron Gray; his special best friend/fiancé, Murty (Mary Jane) Hagan and her children, Shelly (Clint) Lanham and Dana (Kevin) Coomes; grandchildren, Courtney (Brad) Martin, Ashtyn (Jake Powers) Gray. Carlee Gray, Mollie Pounds, Dallas Lanham, Audry (Braden) Lanham, Collin (Abby) Coomes, Alysa (Tyler) Coomes, and Kaden Coomes, Jake, Luke and Jon Jackson, Vanessa Calloway, Julie Jackson, Crystal Hall and Chyna Hill; great grandsons, Colt, Stetson and Jansen Martin; siblings, Harold Gray, Clayton (Gloria) Gray and Donnie (Judy) Gray; sister in law, Faye Gray along with other family members and friends.

Funeral Mass will be held at Noon on Friday, August, 22, 2025 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Hawesville with cremation to follow.  Carl’s family will be greeting friends on Friday from 10 am until Noon at the church.  Gibson & Son Funeral Home has been entrusted with care.  Memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for Memorial Masses in Carl’s name.
