Bobby Flake

Bobby Flake, 61, of Hawesville, passed away on May 21, 2025 under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky with his family by his side.  Bobby was born on September 12, 1963 in Owensboro to the late Oliver (Billy) and Mary Craft Flake.  Bobby was an avid outdoorsman, whether it was fishing or chasing turkeys and deer.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Flake.

Bobby is survived by his son, Dylan Flake; two brothers, Tommy (Shirley) Flake and Billy Joe (Tracy) Flake; his faithful four-legged buddy, Hank, former spouse Crystal Flake along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services for Bobby are at 2:00 pm Tuesday May 27, 2025 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Hawesville Chapel with burial following in Serenity Hills. Bobby’s family will be greeting friends from 10:00 am until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Western Kentucky.  Online condolences may be left for Bobby’s family at www.gibsonandsonfh.com.
