Bobby Earl Carman

Bobby Earl Carman, 69, of Lewisport, passed away on December 19, 2025 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.  He was born in Breckinridge County, Ky on June 27, 1956 to the late Calvin and Louise Nottingham Carman.  Bobby was retired from Southwire Rod & Cable where he worked for 26 years.  He enjoyed drag racing, hunting, fishing and working on cars.  Along with his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his sisters, Brenda Carman and Mary Moore and her husband, Noel Moore.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 17 years, Leigh Ann Carman; daughter, Lucinda (Lee) Taylor; son, Christopher Carman; grandchildren, Willis Henning, Landon Henning, Daedric Jones and Alexander Jones; stepchildren, Taylor Jones, Adam Whitworth, Haley Veit; brother, David (Lois) Carman.

Services will be held at 2 pm on Monday, December 22, 2025 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport Chapel with burial following in Lewisport Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Monday at the funeral home from Noon until service time.
