Betty Sue Dunn

Betty Sue Dunn, 58, of Owensboro, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.  She was born in Owensboro on October 8, 1967 to the late Steve and Sammye Abel Dunn.  Betty enjoyed cooking, grilling, Jerry Springer, Steve Wilkos and Little House on the Prairie.  Her most treasured times were spent with family.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Kandiee (Roberto “Blue”) Ramos and Crystal Griffin; grandchildren, Brianna Griffin, Sebastian Sveistrup, Jaidin Sveistrup, Antonio Ramos and Alyana Tejeda; siblings, Melinda Smith, Steve Allen Dunn Jr., Lee Dunn and Cari Horn.

As per Betty’s wishes, cremation was chosen and a memorial service will be announced at a later date.  Gibson & Son Funeral Home has been entrusted with care.
