Nancy S. Meserve

Nancy S. Meserve, 79, of Hawesville, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.  She was born in Hancock County on April 21, 1938 to the late John E. and Tula Hatfield Sinclair.  Nancy was a member of Hawesville United Methodist Church and was retired from General Electric.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to senior dances and attending shows at Goldie’s.  Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, William “Dub” Meserve; siblings, Johnnie Mae Blandford, Catherine Askin and Kenneth Sinclair.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary Lou (David) Brown; sons, John Nugent, Carson Nugent and Curtis (Sherri) Meserve; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; a great great-grandchild on the way; 6 step children and their families along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Hawesville with burial following in Memory Gardens, Hawesville.  Visitation will be held on Saturday from 3 pm until 8 pm and on Sunday from 10 am until service time at the funeral home.
