Nancy Gough Lawson

Nancy Gough Lawson, 94, of Lewisport, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2018 at Heartland Villa in Lewisport. She was born in Hancock County on August 1, 1923 to the late Arthur and Hallie May Foster Gough. Nancy was a member of Friendly Grove Baptist Church and was a housewife. She enjoyed quilting, UK basketball and spending time with her loved ones. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, James Lawson; a daughter Christine Allen and several siblings.

Survivors include her daughters, Pam (Jim) Hunt, Lori (Darrell) Estes, Sandy Estes and Cindy Lawson; a son, Bob (Marilyn) Lawson; 13 grandchildren and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Wilma Wardrip and Susie Ewan.

Services will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport with burial following in Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10 am until service time at the funeral home.
