Lula Jane Bolen

Lula Jane Bolen, 87 of Lewisport, went to be with Jesus on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Heartland Villa.  She was born in Sample, Ky on September 4, 1931 to the late Milton ad Ersa Parson Wardrip.  Lula worked at GE for several years and was a nurse’s aide.  She was a very spiritual person, prayed for her family religiously, and loved her grandkids.  She was preceded in death by several siblings and a great granddaughter, Allie Roberts.

Survivors include her sons, Scotty Bolen and Ricky (Chris) Bolen; grandchildren, Tasha (Justin) Cox, Dustin Bolen, Ashley Estes, Angel (Travis) Cavazos, A.J. Bolen, Tyler Brandle, Bryan Jackley and Lauren Jackley; great grandchildren, Rylee, Cayden, Quaid, Carley, Callie and Anderson along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held at Noon on Monday, May 6, 2019 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport with burial following in Lewisport Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 10 am until service time Monday at the funeral home.  Memorial Contributions may be made to Heartland Villa Activity Fund.
